  5/5 for food. Came here at like 7:30pm on a saturday night. We were quickly seated.
  
  We ordered sauteed green beans w/minced pork, eggplant and cod hot pot, braised tofu and veggies (bok choy), beef chow fun, and clams with black bean sauce. I hadn't been here in like 10 years but it surprisingly tasted good. Prices were all very reasonable too.
  
  HOWEVER, i am giving this place 3/5 stars because we found a long piece of hair in one of our dishes..... i had read a previous review of that also happening so they should really do something about this...........
  
  Service was good and all the food came out quickly.
  
  Parking lot, although it could get pretty crowded!

  New Lai Wah is very similar to the original Lai Wah bc I have been going here for many years. Food is good majority of the time n the menu offers lots of dishes. Live fish can be chosen directly from their tanks. I always order Wonton/Noodle Soup with Roast Duck. Beef chow fun is my other fav. They stay open late do that is the main plus for me.
  
  Be patient bc staff is limited...
  Ordering togo is fast n tasty

  Nothing worse than pulling a long hair out of your mouth after taking a fork full of their BBQ Pork Fried Rice tonight (4/24/2019). Sooooo disgusted. I couldn't finish my meal.
  
  The only reason they didn't get a 1 Star is because of their salt & pepper prawns which was good.

  The food is always good, very good Chinese food.
  Grandma always has her birthday party here for many years.

  Ok let's start off by saying-- IGNORE the 2 1/2 star rating this place has.
  
  Parking- there's limited spaces, and they seem to only have the spaces point in one direction so if you enter the wrong way it'll be difficult to park.
  
  Came in on a Friday night and it seemed to be slightly busy. Looked like there was only one server but she did a really great job of tending to all the tables in a timely manner.
  
  Now as far as food, I had no idea what to order so I let the rest of my party order their usual plates.
  Calamari-sooo good. Just perfect salt, spice and crisp in every bite.
  Fried flounder-you definitely can't go wrong with it. I like it in almost every restraint I go to.
  Hong Kong noodles-asked for it with brown gravy to give it more flavor, but that's also a dish I like almost every where I order it.
  Now here's the kicker. It was shrimp with eggs. Now I've never personally had that combo before but or an reason it just worked. The eggs were fluffy and buttery and the shrimps were nice and succulent.
  
  Now that I know this place exists and is open late, I'd return to try other things on the menu.
